The plugin we use in our app for casting was recently abandoned by its developers and no one else out there in the tech world looks to be picking up the project. What that means is as time marches on, more and more device combinations will become incompatible with casting especially mismatched pairs like iPad with Amazon's Fire Stick. The good news is there are other ways of getting Gemiini onto a TV, depending on the devices you have available. For example with an iPhone or iPad and an Apple TV, you can use AirPlay to mirror your videos from our app to your TV. The same can be accomplished with an Android device and either a Chromecast, Roku, or Fire TV. That way you are not relying on our now defunct plugin.

The other option is an oldie-but-goodie. If you have a laptop available to you, one thing you might try is plugging the laptop directly into the TV with an HDMI cable and then playing the videos via the website just mirrored onto the TV. If you need to hide the laptop, a longer HDMI cable might make it easier to stash the laptop out of sight after you have started the video you want to play.
Note: If you are having trouble casting, make sure both your phone or tablet and your streaming media player are on the same wireless network. You can also refer to the first section of our Troubleshooting Tricks & Tips for a possible fix.
